Close Racing Supply would like to introduce its latest addition to their CRS line of racing components. Although bearing pre-load spacers are not new to the market, this particular piece is. Its built for use on the pinto spindles which are the most commonly used IMCA/UMP modified spindle today. We believe this bearing pre-load spacer is even more important on the front of modifieds then late models. Late model wide 5 bearings are much larger and have a wider stance then the smaller pinto bearings. With today's modifieds designed to roll onto the RF more then ever before we believe these small bearings will not take the high amounts of side load. Although no one has had a failure with these bearings, we do not know if they are working properly with these high loads on them.

These will work with all types of common hubs that fit a pinto spindle. Once adjusted properly, just tighten up the hub nut and the bearings will spin freely without the tapered race dragging. Just think what the amount of drag would be on this little outer bearing when weight transfer to the RF corner. It's more then what people would realize! Now with this spacer all the load is directed to the inside of the bearing and spacer. No longer binding the bearings up in the race. These have been successfully tested throughout the 2009 season and are percisionly machined in the USA!
